the best wedding vendors in Newcastle + the Hunter Valley
plus a few more
Assembling a crack team of wedding professionals can be tough if you don't know where to look. And even once you find someone who does incredible work, what if they're a jerk to deal with, or don't write back to your emails for a week?

These are the best of the best. They're never going to give you up, or let you down. Never gunna run around and desert you.

If you're looking for a stylist, The Wedding Designer are hard to beat. TWD handle styling, hire, graphic design and florals all under the one roof. Their warehouse is basically a dream come true for couples planning a wedding. They have everything you could possibly want - and if not they can probably make it anyway.

I've also had the pleasure of working on several weddings with Crab Apple Vintage, which have all been amazing.

Jacie Whitfield - Jacie prepares incredibly detailed, personal ceremonies for her couples. I've never been so disappointed when a ceremony actually ended.

Sassy Celebrants - a collective of celebrants based in Newcastle. Personally I've had the most experience with Kez, Monty, Amy & Jules.

Ben Ager - based in Sydney but willing to travel, he has an excellent knack for making all of your guests feel included.

Rosie Beaton - also Sydney based. Awesome ceremonies with tons of personality :)
design patrol wedding videography

If you're adding a videographer, it's a huge benefit if they work in a similar style to myself. It's hard to shoot candid frames if the couple are constantly being posed. The teams below are a dream to work with -

I Heart Productions
Design Patrol
La Lune

Novocastrian couples are spoiled for choice. My go-to's are :

Two Wild Hands
oh fleur
little wren flowers
The Wedding Designer

All of these florists work absolute magic.

hair + makeup

For a team who can handle both, you can't go wrong with Chic Artistry

For a standalone MUA, Ilona Kish is the best you can get.

If you are having a DJ at your wedding, hire XYDJ. No question. So much better than the competition they're not even in the same category.
