Everything was ready to go for the outdoor ceremony – seating in place, the celebrant’s sound equipment setup, the indoor area carefully arranged for the cocktail-style reception coming later that evening. Then in the blink of an eye, sunshine turned to torrential downpour. It just goes to show that despite your best efforts, you can’t quite plan for everything on a wedding day. The blokes jumped into action, and within about 3 minutes the indoor room was transformed and ready to go for an indoor ceremony. For many couples, this would be a little too much stress on what can already be a sometimes stressful day, but not for Abby & Joey. Abby had a laugh, Joey had a quick session with the hairdryer and off we went.
This was a beautiful wedding, inside and out – one of my favourite venues (Mindaribba House) filled with a bunch of awesome people who knew how to have a good time. There were so many little moments through this day that instead of trimming it down, I basically just included them all.
Abby & Joey.
